MINECRAFT AND DUNDEE

That this House recognises that Minecraft, having sold more than 176 million copies globally is now the best selling video game of all time; congratulates Dundee based 4J Studios on the part they have played in the success of Minecraft having produced the console version of the game; celebrates Dundee's role in the rise of video games globally being the home of the world's first ever university video games design course and the birthplace of critically acclaimed games such as Lemmings and Grand Theft Auto; and wishes 4J Studios, Minecraft and other games companies in the City of Discovery, every success in the future.
