Motion text

That this House welcomes the recommendation in the Committee for Climate Change's Report Net Zero, for 30,000 hectares of trees to be planted each year; and calls on the Government to provide greater protection to existing hedgerows and mature trees which are able to remove large amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
