That this House congratulates pupils from Langside primary school on winning prizes as part of the Upstream Battle Campaign for their innovative solutions to remove plastic from the River Clyde; commends Langside primary school for collecting the most sustainable design prize; notes that the prizes were awarded by Keep Scotland Beautiful and Jacobs engineering group; further notes the regional schools’ challenge, partnered alongside West Partnership and Education Scotland, involved 16 schools from across west Scotland being tasked with researching and developing the best STEM ideas to remove plastic already in the Clyde and to prevent plastic entering the river; further congratulates Langside primary school pupils on being so engaged in tackling this problem on their doorstep and bringing forward some fantastic ideas and solutions; and further commends the pupils' determination to address this global problem.
