Motion text
That this House welcomes the 100th anniversary of the Paisley Comrades branch of the Royal British Legion; recognises its founding in May 1919 by nine survivors of World War One meeting in Paisley, growing by June of that year to a branch of over 100 members; notes that the Paisley Comrades branch pre-dates even the Royal British Legion itself; welcomes the support, help, and companionship provided by the Comrades to former service personnel over the past century; and wishes the Comrades well in their next 100 years of supporting Renfrewshire's ex-service men and women.
