That this House congratulates Isabelle Kerr on receiving an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Strathclyde; recognises Dr Kerr's thirteen years as Centre Manager at the Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis Centre; notes that Dr Kerr started work at Glasgow & Clyde Rape Crisis as a volunteer helpline worker in 1981 and was one of the founding members of Aberdeen Rape Crisis in 1984; recognises that Dr Kerr has worked UK-wide in services for homelessness, benefits advice, community projects, youth work, equalities, and travelling communities all from the perspective of violence against women; further recognises Dr Kerr's work in developing Equally Safe in Higher Education; is grateful for Dr Kerr's generosity and support of those around her in sharing her expertise and knowledge; thanks Dr Kerr for her life-long commitment both in policy and practice to ending gender based violence; and wishes Dr Kerr every success in the years ahead.
