Motion text
That this House condemns US peace envoy Jason Greenblatt's comments made in an interview with PBS on 17 July 2019, in which Greenblatt rejected the term occupied to describe the West Bank and described as pejorative the use of the word settlements; notes that the Oslo Accords recognised that land as occupied and the settlements as part of the West Bank and not Israel; and urges the Government to press the US to return to the Oslo Accords and restart the negotiating process according to Article V of the Accords.
