That this House remembers with great sadness the atrocities carried out on Bloody Monday 27 August 1979; expresses continued sympathy to the families of Lord Mountbatten, Lady Doreen Brabourne, Nicholas Knatchbull and Paul Maxwell who were murdered off the coast of Sligo; further expresses sympathy to the families of the 18 soldiers killed at Narrow Water that same day; and pledges to continue to remember all those who lost their lives in the Troubles as well as support those who live with the scars of the Troubles.
