Motion text
That this House condemns racism in football on all levels, welcomes the UEFA Control Ethics and Disciplinary Body investigation into racist behaviour by Slovakian fans in a previous UEFA football qualifier; notes its disappointment that 2,137 travelling Wales supporters will not be allowed to attend the national team’s Euro 2020 qualifier in Trnava, Slovakia on 10 October 2019, and that the decision unfairly punishes innocent Welsh fans that have already paid for travel and accommodation; and calls on UEFA to consider allowing travelling Welsh fans to attend the match, and donating the proceeds to an appropriate charity.
