This House condemns the widely reported instance of a 13 year old boy receiving vile anti-Semitic abuse on a London bus on 5 January; sends this House’s solidarity and sympathy to the Jewish community following this and other recently widely reported instances of anti-Semitic abuse; again calls on the Government to redouble its efforts to work with the Jewish community and Jewish organisations to ensure that their concerns are heard and steps are established to ensure that the Jewish community feels safe in the UK; and commits to working towards eliminating anti-Semitic and racist abuse as quickly as possible.
