Motion text
That this House is alarmed at the shocking news from Jaguar Land Rover that 500 jobs are to go at its Halewood plant as it moves from a three shift system to a two shift system; notes that there will be a knock on effect in the supply chain; is concerned that ongoing uncertainty about Brexit and our future trading relationships with the EU will mean that there are more job losses to come in the North West auto industry; and calls on the Government to provide support to ensure the ongoing viability of the North West car manufacturing industry during this period of uncertainty.
