That this House notes with interest the launch of the new Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Week 2020 by the Department for Economy Permanent Secretary; welcomes this chance to highlight the tremendous opportunities that are available for businesses as well as workers of any age to open new doors to new skills; further welcomes the success of the 25 events which took place throughout Northern Ireland between 3 and 7 of February; and encourages more businesses to consider the benefits of taking on apprentices and the difference that can be made to our economy and importantly to the lives and job satisfaction of many individuals.
