That this House congratulates Kirkhill Primary School on achieving a Royal Horticultural Society Level 2 Gardening Award; appreciates that this demonstrates significant commitment by the children and the school community to making the most of their environment; understands that the Gardening Award is achieved by schools demonstrating knowledge, understanding and skill in gardening; further appreciates that this award was awarded to Kirkhill Primary School for their excellent efforts and hard work in creating and carrying out action plans on gardening and plants; applauds the pupils for their efforts in growing their own food; notes that the school has formed a dedicated eco committee to ensure a continued focus in this area; and encourages more schools to follow in the footsteps of Kirkhill Primary School in terms of environmental sustainability.
