Motion text
That this House notes with concern that safari parks remain listed as businesses required to remain closed during the covid-19 lockdown; further notes that safari parks are drive-through operations with a built-in element of social distancing; draws attention to the suggestion from representatives from English safari parks that legislative proposals be brought forward to enable the re-opening of the drive-through facilities at safari parks; and calls on the Government to engage with representatives of English safari parks as a matter of urgency on appropriate arrangements to enable them to re-open in a safe manner.
