Motion text
That this House recognises the outstanding technological achievements which have led to Clydebank’s environmentally friendly system being installed which uses water from the River Clyde to heat nearby homes; notes that this heating system is the first large-scale water source heat pump scheme of its kind in Scotland, and will transform the way homes, businesses and public buildings in the centre of the town are heated; recognises the hard work and planning of West Dunbartonshire Council in conjunction with partners to create and launch the system; and hopes that this impressive technological achievement will inspire other such advancements across the nation to combat the growing climate change emergency.
