That this House congratulates Midlothian Young People's Advice Service (MYPAS) on its award of £149,303 in National Lottery Funding this month; notes that the group will use the funding to deliver support services to LGBTQ+ young people in East Lothian and Midlothian, providing a safe space to explore their identity, improve mental health and wellbeing, and form new positive connections; recognises that MYPAS are a young person’s health and wellbeing organisation based in Dalkeith who provide vital information, support and advice on a range of subjects to young people in Midlothian and East Lothian; and welcomes this round of £11 million in National Lottery funding aimed at helping Scottish community groups adapt and recover from the impact of the covid-19 outbreak.
