That this House congratulates the East Kilbride and District Young Farmers on their receipt of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service; further congratulates them for continuing their commitment to the East Kilbride community during the difficulties of the last year; notes the long-standing dedication of the club and its members to supporting the local community, working with young people to realize their full potential; recognises the organisation’s successful events raising funds for East Kilbride Dementia Carer’s Group, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Kilbryde Hospice, Maggies, Samaritans, Guide Dogs for the Blind and Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance; and wishes the club success with future fundraisers and endeavours.
