FASS/ADAPT supporting substance misuse in Fife's communities during the covid-19 pandemic

That this House recognises the extraordinary efforts of ADAPT workers who continued to deliver front line services across the communities of Fife throughout the covid-19 pandemic; further recognises their voluntary service in support of NHS Fife colleagues; acknowledges the delivery of 100 prescriptions daily over a four month period on behalf of NHS Fife Addiction services; further acknowledges the ADAPT Triage and Support Service delivery of 1,485 counselling appointments to 706 clients; notes that the Near Fatal Overdose Project distributed 1,800 Naloxone kits in partnership with NHS Fife Addiction services and has been recognized as the leading service for near fatal overdose prevention with its model being adopted as part of a national program; recognises the support of the STV Appeal in providing supermarket vouchers, electricity top-ups and food parcels for 84 families and 107 children throughout Fife; yet notes that while more financial support is sought by ADAPT to support Fife’s communities they deeply value the ongoing support of Fife ADP and the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership.
