That this House congratulates the Argyll-based Charity Mary’s Meals on reaching the remarkable landmark of feeding two million of the world’s poorest children every day; acknowledges the dedicated hard work of Mary’s Meals eighty thousand staff and volunteers working in nineteen countries, across four continents, and thanks them for everything they have done to improve the lives of so many children by ensuring that not only are those children being fed but that they are receiving a meal in school; recognises the outstanding personal contribution made by Mary’s Meals founder Mr Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow who since Mary’s Meal served its first meal to a Malawian child in 2002 has worked tirelessly to feed as many of the world’s poorest children in a place of education; and wishes Mary's Meals every success in the future.
