That this House congratulates White Ribbon Scotland on its most recent funding award from the Scottish Government; celebrates that White Ribbon Scotland has been awarded £75,000 per year over the next two years from the Scottish Government’s Delivering Equally Safe Fund; notes that this fund, which is running from 1st October 2021 to 30 September 2023, seeks to support third sector organisations and public bodies contribute to the objectives, priorities, and outcomes of the Equally Safe strategy to tackle violence against women and girls; recognises the stellar work done by White Ribbon Scotland engaging with men and boys to end violence against women, particularly in seeking to prevent violence before it happens; and calls on all men to take White Ribbon’s promise to never commit, excuse or remain silent about violence against women.
