That this House recognises the important goal of the Vivid Roots Collective which aims to stem the flow of emerging artists from the Highlands and Islands; congratulates the Inverness College UHI alumni’s theatre Collective for successfully raising £1,100 to support new artists and the creation of original works which tackle social and women’s issues; appreciates the importance of keeping homegrown talent in the Highlands and Islands; and wishes creators Laura Walker, Keira Smith, Sophie Bender and Sophie Wink success in the future.
