That this House commends the work of the Scottish Government’s Home Energy Scotland service that is managed across Scotland by Energy Saving Trust and delivered to constituents in South East Scotland by Changeworks; recognises that Home Energy Scotland is the referral point for the Scottish Government funded Warmer Homes Scotland programme that, since 2015, has helped over 24,000 households across Scotland with a range of energy efficiency improvements to help keep people warmer in their homes and reduce their energy bills; notes Home Energy Scotland provides a range of free and impartial advice on energy efficiency, low and zero emissions heating, sustainable transport and water efficiency; further commends this service for continually delivering crucial support to constituents throughout the pandemic by helping households to stay warm, save money and reduce their carbon impact; and further recognises the support this service provided to local authorities to reach households who were shielding and providing e-bike trials to key workers.
