Rearo's 30th anniversary

That this House congratulates Rearo Laminates, an independent family business, who specialise in the manufacturing of laminate surfaces for the domestic and commercial market, headquartered in Govan in the Glasgow South West constituency, on celebrating their 30th anniversary in November 2021; notes that the company went from modest beginnings in 1991 and has grown to have more than 100 workers across sites in Govan, Fife, Lerwick, Washington and Northampton; recognises the success of Rearo’s apprenticeship programme, providing vital apprenticeships which have benefitted many, for which they won the Scottish Apprenticeship Award in 2018 for equality and diversity; supports their ambitious growth plans with a £500,000 investment in transforming production processes and working practices, developing new products and embedding a commitment to customer service across the company; and wishes all the management and staff at Rearo continued success as they move into the fourth decade in business.
