Motion text
That this House notes the end of National Essential Tremor Awareness Month 2022; highlights the condition which presents as uncontrolled and repetitive movements, most commonly affecting the arms and the hands; notes that many suffer from their teenage years and it is not simply an age issue; further notes that Essential Tremor is often misdiagnosed as Parkinson’s disease, yet it is eight times more common; and thanks people, like David Murdoch from Newtownards, for their work to raise awareness of this condition.
