Motion text
That this House marks the centenary of policing in Northern Ireland since the formation of the Royal Ulster Constabulary in 1922; notes the 462 officers who lost their lives in the line of duty or service during that time and the thousands of others who sacrificed their mental health and home life due to the trauma they faced; and expresses sincere gratitude to each officer and their families for all they did to allow people to live in safety.
