That this House recognises the inspiring work of Bwyd Bendigedig Port/ Incredible Edible Porthmadog (aka Edible Madog) in working to better connect local communities through the power of food by transforming underused public spaces into community vegetable gardens; welcomes Bwyd Bendigedig Port’s core aims of mitigating and adapting to climate change, educating in sustainable food growing methods, increasing biodiversity, and using low carbon methods to protect the environment; is pleased that Bwyd Bendigedig Port is working closely with local schools and partner organisations to inspire future generations to get involved with community gardening; welcomes the growth of Incredible Edible groups across the UK which has soared from 25 to over 100 since 2012; and wishes Bwyd Bendigedig Port the very best with its future activities.
