That this House marks the 100th anniversary of East Renfrewshire Golf Club which was founded on 18th January 1922; notes that this significant milestone was marked with a series of festivities including a centenary exhibition match, reciprocal matches with other 1922 centenary clubs, and the James Braid Society which honours the architect of the course; further notes that the progressive club caters for ladies and gentlemen, with members being treated equally with regards to the use of facilities and membership fees; acknowledges that the Club makes a significant positive contribution to local communities in East Renfrewshire; and wishes all the staff, officials, and members at the club all the best for the future.
