That this House recognises the efforts of St Mary’s for All SCIO to provide a safe, accessible, community space for the local residents of Hamilton; further recognises the community space allows a meeting space for fantastic local groups including Circle, Counselling for All, CAB, Women’s Aid, Lanarkshire Carers, Let’s Dance, as well as the local Cubs and Scouts; congratulates St Mary’s for All on their work to ensure the 19th Century Gothic church hall at St Mary’s in Hamilton remains fit for purpose and accessible to vital community groups; recognises the efforts of St Mary’s for All in allowing this space to be used to provide skills and support consistently for the local community and reinvestment of profits for the common good; and further congratulates St Mary’s for All SCIO on securing a grant of £10,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund which will allow the charity to employ a development officer to continue the engagement of volunteers and the wider community who meet in St Mary's Hall in Hamilton.
