That this House congratulates Carluke Development Trust on securing £70,984 of funding through the National Lottery Community Fund; applauds Carluke Development Trust, established in 1999 on their work with communities to carry out projects developing the community, space, environment of Carluke, Braidwood, Law, Crossford and Kilncadzow; highlights that this work helps and is important in helping to grow sustainable and thriving economies of these communities; notes that this grant will allow the Trust to deliver a community gardening project providing activities, events and workshops for the local community; welcomes that this project will deliver a range of horticultural, educational, training and volunteering opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds, and will engage the local community; further highlights the wide-ranging benefit and community involvement that this three-year grant will bring with approximately 2,500 people benefiting and 150 regular volunteers being involved; and wishes Carluke Development Trust well in their future endeavours.
