That this House congratulates Clydesdale Community Initiatives on securing £9,653 of funding through the National Lottery Community Fund; praises Clydesdale Community Initiatives, established in 2002, on their work in supporting people facing barriers to inclusion to make a contribution to their community through developing skills and gaining real work experience; commends Clydesdale Community Initiatives on their inclusive philosophy of everyone contributes, everyone gains, valuing individuals for their interests, abilities and contribution to the community; understands Clydesdale Community Initiatives will use the grant to fund a community repair shop hosting surgeries for local people to bring old, damaged or broken furniture to be repaired or upcycled; applauds the ambition of Clydesdale Community Initiatives on combining their work of community skills development with the environmentally friendly practice of furniture upcycling; and wishes Clydesdale Community Initiatives well on this project and all future ventures.
