CEASEFIRE IN TURKEY (Amendment 1)
at end add 'and regrets the further clash with the PKK and Turkish forces at Binkol on 24th May 1993 and the Turkish militaries subsequent operation involving, allegedly, 122 aircraft and 50,000 troops against the Kurds; and recognises that these violations of the cease-fire make the speedy opening of negiations with Kurdish representatives and the Turkish Government all the more urgent'.
