That this House congratulates Loraine Swan on being awarded the BEM for services to the community in Lanark; acknowledges the lifetime of service Loraine has given to her home town; recognises her hard work as a member and chair of the Lanark Lanimer committee which put on a number of successful events during her tenure; applauds Loraine for her continued dedication to the community in her roles as a Sunday school teacher at Cairns/Greyfriars Church, as group co-ordinator at Lanark U3A, as programme secretary at Inner Wheel of Lanark and as a member of Kilninie Club; and thanks Loraine for everything she has done for the community of Lanark.
