Motion text
That this House congratulates rangers on their work to guard wildlife and protect the natural world; recognises the great damage caused to wildlife by poachers across the world, particularly in Africa and South America; mourns the death of rangers killed by poachers; is aware that illegal wildlife crime is estimated to worth more than $20 billion per year; understands that the families of rangers killed are unlikely to receive compensation or support; and calls on the Government to work with international organisations to provide compensation and support to families of killed rangers as well as to combat poaching across the world.
