Motion text
That this House congratulates the employers who secured a place on Stonewall’s Top 100 Employers list; commends the progressive work of those employers who are setting the highest standard of LGBT inclusivity in the workplace, which should be mirrored by all; regrets the Cabinet Office’s decision to remove itself from Stonewall’s Diversity Champions Programme in 2021; rejects claims that the Government’s involvement in such programme had disastrous consequences; expresses its disappointment that no UK Government Department has made Stonewall’s list in 2023; condemns the Government’s inaction on LGBT inclusivity in the workplace; recognises that the omission of Government Departments from Stonewall’s top 100 list reflects their position on LGBT inclusivity; and encourages all Government Departments to uphold the highest standards in workplace diversity, setting an example to all UK employers.
