That this House recognises the invaluable contributions made by community groups in enhancing the quality of life for residents and fostering a sense of belonging; commends the Roslin Village Group for its commitment to serving the Roslin community; notes the receipt of a £1,935 grant to support its one-year project aimed at empowering up to 20 volunteers; further notes the project's focus on encouraging children aged six to eight years old to engage in improving small garden spaces around a primary school in Roslin; acknowledges the positive impact of such initiatives in promoting community engagement, environmental stewardship and the development of valuable skills among volunteers and children alike; and commends the Roslin Village Group's dedication to enhancing the local environment and fostering a sense of pride in the community.
