That this House congratulates the historic victory of the Romford Football Club, founded in 1876, upon winning the FA Vase Cup at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 11 May 2024; commends the efforts of Club Chairman, Steve Gardener, Manager, Dan Spinks, the coaches, Lee Benson and John Hughes, who have led the team to this triumphant victory; applauds the skill of the players themselves who have tirelessly worked towards this magnificent win, despite the odds of being up against 597 other teams; and conveys its admiration to all the loyal Romford Football Club fans, past and present, some of whom have been supporting the club for over half a century, who can now truly say with pride Up the Boro.
