That this House commends the Aldi stores in Falkirk for donating over 2,500 meals to local families in need earlier this year through their community giving platform, Neighbourly; recognises the vital role played by local charities and foodbanks, particularly during the summer school holidays when many families face additional financial pressures; thanks Aldi UK and its staff for their continued commitment to supporting local communities with fresh and wholesome food; notes the contribution of Neighbourly in distributing these donations effectively to those most in need; and encourages other retailers to follow this example in tackling food insecurity and supporting families across the UK.
