Motion text

That this House congratulates the Women’s Institute on 110 years since its formation in 1915; recognises its position as one of the oldest and largest women's organisations and the important role it plays in inspiring women from all over England, Wales and The Islands to be active citizens who care about their local, national and global communities and who want to enhance the lives of women and girls everywhere; thanks the organisation for its role as a change maker on issues that impact the everyday lives of women and their families, including housing, equal pay for equal work, keeping Britain tidy, women’s and broader health issues, modern slavery, climate change and more; and wishes the organisation many more years of success.
