That this House recognises Occupational Therapy Week 2025, celebrating the vital contribution of occupational therapists across the UK; notes that occupational therapists take a holistic approach, considering the mental, physical and environmental factors that enable people to live independently and participate fully in daily life; acknowledges their essential role in helping people to stay well for longer, prevent hospital admissions and reduce pressure on health and social care services; and calls on the Government to ensure that occupational therapists are fully utilised across health, social care and community settings to deliver improved outcomes and better value for the public.
