That this House congratulates the Magic Lantern Cinema in Tywyn on being named Cinema of the Year at the British Independent Film Awards 2025; notes that this accolade recognises the Magic Lantern’s exceptional contribution to independent film and its role as a vital cultural hub for the local community in Tywyn and surrounding area; further notes that the cinema has served audiences in rural Wales for over a century, offering an inclusive and diverse programme and remaining open 363 days a year; commends the dedication of its staff and volunteers in sustaining this historic venue; and wishes the Magic Lantern continued success in promoting film and the arts in Meirionnydd and beyond.
