60th anniversary of Re-engage Epsom and Ewell

That this House congratulates Re-engage Epsom and Ewell on the occasion of its 60th anniversary; recognises the outstanding contribution made by its volunteers in supporting lonely and isolated older people aged 75 and over through free monthly tea parties and a call-befriending service; notes that the group has supported hundreds of older residents in Epsom and Ewell since its establishment; pays tribute to the dedication of volunteers who provide companionship, friendship and reassurance to those who may otherwise go long periods without social contact; further notes the positive impact of this work on the wellbeing and quality of life of older people; and wishes Re-engage Epsom and Ewell and its volunteers continued success for many years to come.
