That this House notes the passage of the Crown Estate (Wales) Bill through the House of Lords; believes that the people of Wales should control and benefit from their own natural resources; further notes that the value of the Crown Estate in Wales has increased dramatically from £21.1 million in 2007 to £853 million in 2023; also notes that the Crown Estate in Scotland has been devolved to the Scottish Government since 2017 which has allowed millions of pounds generated from the Estate to be reinvested each year back into local communities; believes that the management of the Crown Estate in Wales should be devolved to the Welsh Government, in line with Scotland; and calls on the Government to make parliamentary time available for the Crown Estate (Wales) Bill [Lords] to be debated.
