Motion text

That this House notes a number of the nation's most prestigious museums have not been supplying online purchases to Northern Ireland based consumers for some time; further notes the written records of each of them to the hon. Member for East Londonderry indicating their willingness to do so; welcomes the one museum that only recently has started the process to begin supplying Northern Ireland customers; and calls upon the Cabinet Office and Government more widely in conjunction with the EU to bring the current unacceptable and shambolic process to an end whereby Northern Ireland based residents who are in London can purchase the same goods and return home with them while the slow, laborious, painstaking and costly process of normalising online purchases continues.
