This House congratulates TMT First, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, for being awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation for their innovative Mobile Component Repair Service; acknowledges that the award was presented at a special ceremony on Thursday 29 January 2026 to TMT First founder, Adam Whitehouse by the Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire, Professor Elizabeth Barnes CBE; appreciates all members of the TMT First team for their hard work and commitment to a sustainable future for Newcastle-under-Lyme and Staffordshire; notes that the ceremony was attended by more than 100 guests from across Staffordshire including the hon. Member for Newcastle-under-Lyme and the Mayor of the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme, company representatives from Samsung and eBay, as well as representatives from Keele University, the University of Staffordshire and Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce; celebrates TMT First's guiding mission to do more repairing and refurbishing rather than replacing; and wishes this excellent business, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, all the best for the future.
