Motion text
That this House notes with sympathy the passing of Captain Philip Gilbert Muldowney who was killed during a training exercise in Northumberland, England serving with the 4th Regiment Royal Artillery; highlights that this young man was known to be an officer and a gentleman born in Roscommon and joining the British Army in 2020 after attending the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst; and expresses sincere sympathy to his mum and dad and sisters, his colleagues in the Army, and his friends back home who desperately miss him and whose promise we replicate, we will remember him.
