Motion text
That this House calls on the Government to postpone the implementation of new business rates valuations until it has published data on the impact of recent revaluations; believes that proceeding without this information risks unfair outcomes for businesses, especially hospitality businesses; and urges the Government to undertake further work to reform business rates in order to establish a fairer and more sustainable base of tax from which rates are charged.
