That this House welcomes the Dundee Women’s Trail, a public heritage initiative commemorating the lives and contributions of 25 women who shaped Dundee’s social, cultural, scientific, political and civic history; recognises the value of making women’s histories visible in public spaces; acknowledges the Trail’s educational and community impact; further recognises Mariote Ker, an Anonymous Maidservant, Agnes Husband, Frances Wright, Margaret Fenwick, Dr Alice Moorhead, Dr Emily Thomson, Mary Ann Baxter, Williamina Fleming, Lila Clunas, Professor Margaret Fairlie, Rebecca Strong, Jean Thomson, Mary Alcock, Victoria Drummond, Katharine Read, Florence Horsbrugh, Mary Lily Walker, Mary Brooksbank, Mary Slessor, Mary Buick (Buik), Bella Keyzer, Ethel Moorhead, Grissell Jaffray and Janet Keiller as the women commemorated on the Trail; and commends all those involved in delivering the project.
