That this House celebrates the Glasgow 850 Interfaith Sponsored Walk which is a visible sign of hope and community in our city; commends their work in promoting interfaith dialogue by encouraging people of all backgrounds to join in a walk between eight places of worship to hear blessings for Glasgow from different faith traditions and ending with a shared community meal; recognises the value that St Andrews West Parish Church, Hindu Mandir Glasgow, Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow Buddhist Centre, St Aloysius Church, Garnethill Synagogue, Glasgow Central Mosque and Glasgow Gurdwara brings to local faith communities; welcomes this sponsored walk's mission to support the work of Interfaith Glasgow in tackling prejudice and building positive connections between people of all faiths and beliefs; hopes they succeed in reaching their fundraising goal for this important work; and wishes all participants and organisers every success on the day.
