That this House congratulates Ané Kritzinger on winning the Gold Medal in the Physics category at STEM for BRITAIN; recognises the outstanding achievement of presenting cutting-edge research in Parliament as part of this prestigious national competition for early-career researchers; notes that the research, conducted at University of St Andrews, focuses on detecting methanol in spirits without opening the bottle, addressing the serious global issue of methanol poisoning; commends the innovation and potential real-world impact of this work in improving public health and safety; further recognises the importance of supporting early-career scientists and promoting women in STEM fields across the United Kingdom; and wishes her every success in her future research and career.
