That this House acknowledges with thanks the service of the Honourable Ralph Goodale PC who has returned home to Saskatchewan following his term as Canada's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland after a long career at the highest levels of Canadian public life; recognises the important contribution of Mrs Pam Goodale to the partnership between the United Kingdom and Canada during their time in the United Kingdom; notes that the bilateral relationship between Canada and the United Kingdom has never been stronger; celebrates our shared history and values, our shared membership of the Commonwealth and our shared head of state, His Majesty King Charles III; welcomes the recent delegation of Canadian parliamentarians to the United Kingdom led by the Honourable Kody Blois PC MP, the Honourable Judy Sgro PC MP and the Honourable Yasir Naqvi ECO MP; and recommits to building on the contribution and legacy of the Honourable Ralph Goodale PC and furthering the relations between Canada and the United Kingdom at every stage and in every way.
