World Parkinson’s Day 2026

This House notes that 11 April 2026 is World Parkinson’s Day 2026; extends good wishes to all those who will be raising money, hosting events and community activities in communities right across the world; commits to supporting all those living with Parkinson's right across the UK with first class research, the highest quality care and all the support necessary to live as independent and active a life as possible; recognises the sacrifices, care and compassion of the families, carers and NHS staff supporting those who live with Parkinson's every single day; rededicates itself to supporting the work of Parkinson's UK on this day and all days; and further notes that this is a time to come together, raise awareness and build connections in communities right across the world.
